On the Anglesey Coastal Path
 The Borthwen Barns are situated on the West coast of Anglesey, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
They are a two minute walk from the family friendly Borthwen Beach, which has sandy expanses and rock pools at low tide. The Coastal Footpath passes only meters away and leads on to other secluded coves and beaches such as Church Bay, which is famous for The Lobster Pot restaurant. The barns are also excellently positioned for water-sports, walking, bird watching and horse riding. They are conveniently located for exploring the beauty of the Isle of Anglesey, with the Snowdonia mountain range within a forty minute drive away.
These stone barns have been recently converted and, in spite of their traditional exterior have high specification modern and comfortable interiors. Old beams, natural materials such as travertine stone and wood, combined with modern furniture, create a warm and contemporary look. Two of the barns have wood burning stoves and all have under floor heating.
They are all equipped with washing machines, dryers, dish washers, microwave, HD flat screen TV with Freesat connection and DVD players.
Outside there is ample car parking. Each barn has a patio area with table, chairs and a BBQ and access to a shared area with lawns.
Cotton sheets and towels are included in the rental price along with a basket of logs (for cottages with wood burning stoves) and a welcome pack.

The accommodation is for 8 guests, but can cater for 10:
On ground floor:
• 1 large double room (5 foot bed) with en-suite shower room
• 2 double or twin bed rooms each with 2 single beds (these can be converted to a 6 foot double bed in each room).
• Separate family bathroom with bath and separate power shower
• Spacious hallway with utility cupboard and seating area
On first floor:
• Open plan living area and integrated contemporary kitchen area with breakfast bar.
• Double bedroom (with 6 foot bed or two 3 foot single beds)

Grocery deliveries can be arranged along with home-cooked meals using fresh local ingredients. In addition baby-sitting and activities such as horse riding, go-carting, golfing, fishing and beauty pamper sessions can easily be organised. As the Barns are part of the privately owned Carreglwyd Country Estate, the fishing lake and beautiful woodland walks will be made available to all guests upon request.
The accommodation prices are for the number of guests stated for each property. Where the barns can cater for additional guests as stated, there will be an extra cost of 10% of the total rental price.
