This cosy retreat for two people is tucked away within a large, secluded country estate called Carreglwyd. The accommodation is situated on the first floor of a newly renovated Victorian Stable block.  Accessed externally via stone stairs, the studio offers an airy and bright space within peaceful surroundings, and a great view through the trees over towards the woodlands and Victorian walled kitchen garden.

There are great woodland walks within the mature woodlands on offer within the Estate and a lake for coarse fishing (with prior consent via the owner). Please note that the country estate does offer grouse and pheasant shooting so in the season, this may be noisy for one day of the week. Just 20 minutes walk over  estate land is Borthwen Beach, to combine the quiet of the woods with the lull of the sea.

The cottage offers Flat Screen High Density television, Freesat, DVD player, in addition to the basics such as a cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, hair dryer and an iron/ironing board. Facilities for washing clothes (washing machine and separate dryer) are located on the ground floor of the Stable Block.

The accommodation can cater for up to 2 guests, plus one in a travel cot or on a fold up bed:

Inclusive in the price is a welcome pack. Grocery deliveries can be arranged and in addition, we can organise activities such as horse riding, go-carting, golfing, fishing on your behalf. We also offer services such as baby-sitting and can also arrange to deliver home-cooked food to your cottage.
